NOTIFIED ABSENCE

If you are unable to attend your lesson, please notify us of your absence at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the session in order to receive a credit for a make-up lesson. We do understand last minute issues occasionally happen such as illness or injury. If so, contact us as early as possible so we can let the coach know of your non-attendance.

Please remember the cancellation of your private lesson will significantly impact your coach’s scheduling so advance notice of a pending absence is greatly appreciated.

NO SHOWS

People who simply give no advance notice of their impending failure to attend a session will not generally be entitled to receive a credit for a make-up lesson unless it is due to exceptional circumstances.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In the event of inclement weather making the courts unplayable, a text message will be sent prior to the lesson’s start to notify of the lesson’s cancellation. We normally send the text up to 30 minutes prior to the lesson; weather depending. We constantly monitor the weather and aim to make a well thought decision ahead of time to avoid any unnecessary travel. Note our porous courts can sustain some wet conditions so lessons might be able to run under light drizzle. In general, if you do not receive notification, please assume lessons are on.

 

Should a group lesson be cancelled, you will be issued a makeup lesson credit. It is your responsibility to contact the club to book the makeup in a suitable group on another day. If unable to schedule before the end of term, a credit will be issued at your request towards our holiday program. Makeups for private lessons due to inclement weather will also need to be arranged between you and your coach to re-schedule at a mutually suitable time.

 

MAKE-UP LESSONS 

Please note, we are not offering refund for missed lesson. Instead all notified absences (group or privates) are automatically transferred into a credit for a make-up lesson. 

 

For group lessons, we can book you into a make-up lesson in a similar class on another day (e.g. Hot shots Orange Ball beginner). Please organise all your make-up lessons by the end of the term. 

In the scenario that you were not able to organise all your make up lessons before the end of term or if there is no suitable classes for your make-up lessons, we will give you a credit for our holiday program (if suitable).

 

For private lessons, please contact your coach to organise a make-up lesson at a convenient time. School holiday may also be a time where your coach can catch up on make-up lessons. If you don’t have your coach’s contact details, contact us instead. 

 

Please note: Make-up lessons should be done prior the start of the following term. We do not transfer credit into the following term unless special circumstances when you were not able to catch-up such as: long term injuries/illness, your coach was not available to do your make up classes, you were away for the school holidays and not able to do your make-up. In those reasonable circumstances, your credit will be transferred to the following term in order to make sure your receive the services you paid for.
